The first vintage of this Monopole vineyard purchased from the Duchesse de Magenta! The yield is decent at 33 hl/ha. 20% new wood, made in the same way as the other whites. There is a suggestion of considerable power here and distinction. Kicks on beautifully on the palate, white fruit with a few plums in the background, very good acidity, and persistent. A fine first outing
