The 2018 Saint-Bris Corps de Garde has some of the most expressive and open aromatics of Goisot's 2018s, featuring white peach, grapefruit, kiwi fruit and light fumé scents. The palate is beautifully balanced, with a waxy texture, expressing the Sauvignon Gris to full effect on its stem ginger and rhubarb-tinged finish. Seductive, but I would love to revisit it with bottle age.
