Jean-Faure 2020 is made up of 65% Cabernet Franc, 30% Merlot and 5% Malbec. The property is superbly situated a few hundred yards along from Cheval-Blanc, adjoining La Dominique, across the commune border from leading Pomerol châteaux: La Conseillante and l’Evangile. The 2020 is a wine of great perfume and beauty. The nose is super-pure, being floral and bright, with mouth-watering, ripe, freshly-picked blackcurrant aromas. It is equally impressive on the palate, with fleshy textures and a truly intense, tight-knit intensity of fruit in its core.
