Domaine Alary
The Alary’s family involvement in Viticulture and wine production dates back as far as 1692, to the reign of Louis XIV. 10 generations have worked in the property. In 2009, the Alary family converted to organic farming which seemed like natural progression for the estate. They have always placed emphasis on tending the vines and caring for the environment.
90% of the vineyard is planted to red varieties, including some very old vines.
The white wines from Roussane, Clairette and Viognier are fresh, nutty and complex.
The reds, mainly made from Grenache, are unfiltered. They are full of dense and aromatic garrigues scents and berry fruit.
L’Estevenas is among the best old Vine Grenache wine outside Chateauneuf-du-Pape.
