Colterenzio

in 1960, when 26 winemakers decide to join each other, making themselves
independent of the wine merchants, who at the time used to determine sales prices.
The foundation of their own winery set the course towards quality. Today, 300 winegrowers together with the people working at Colterenzio continued this path.The vineyards are placed in the best areas. of Alto Adige with all of the vineyards between 750 and 1700 feet above sea level. The Colterenzio winery cares about the environment, not only in the vineyards, but also in the cellar. In the vineyard this means sustainable viticulture and handpicked grapes.
