Marcello Bucci is making wonderful Brunello’s on his tiny, 7 hectares estate. Since 1798, the estate has been in the hands of the Bucci family
The wines keep getting better and are gaining recognition from top critics.
The grapes, picked by hand, are selected during the harvest and on the sorting table. After destemming, the grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled vats. The wines are packed with plums, prunes, licorice and cherries.
The estate received organic certification from the 2012 vintage and generates approximately 80% of its own electricity from solar panels.
