Camille Giroud
Founded in 1865, this producer was known for traditional, long-aged Burgundies. It was acquired in 2002 by Ann Colgin from fame Colgin Cellars. They brought in fantastic winemaker David Croix and undertook a major revamping in the winery.
David Croix believes that most important factor is the work done in the vineyard. The winemaking represents a perfect blend of tradition and modern technology, with limited amount of new oak.
The wines have a lovely sense of transparency that beautifully expresses the wide range of terroir that Camille Giroud has access to.
